Receive your employee referral bonus when your connection starts a new role discovered through SkillsRobin. Get a second referral bonus if they stay in the role for 6 months.
Referral bonuses are only issued when a job seeker on SkillsRobin commences a job with an employer who connected with them through SkillsRobin. Payment of bonuses are contingent on the employer paying SkillsRobin a referral fee for the job placement. If a referrer connects a job seeker to an employer outside of SkillsRobin, no referral bonus will be paid to the referrer.
The size of the referral bonus awarded is dependent on the seniority of the job seeker and the time commitment of the job.
The seniority of the job seeker is determined by the number of years of full-time work experience they have within the profession they are applying for. For their work experience to count as full-time, they must have worked for 35 hours or more per week on an ongoing basis in the role.
To be awarded a bonus at the full-time rate, the job seeker must be commencing a role with where they are expected to work 35 hours or more per week on an ongoing basis and the contract does not end within 90 days of the start date.
To be awarded a bonus at the part-time, casual, freelance and short-term position rate, the candidate must be commencing a role where they are expected to work less than 35 hours per week on an ongoing basis, or the employment contract ends within 90 days of the start date.
Bonuses are awarded 30-40 days after the candidate starts work in the role. In the event an employer is late in paying their referral fee, there may be a delay in the transfer of your referral bonus.
If a job seekers leaves the position or is dismissed by the employer within 30 days of commencing the job or before the end date of the contract (whichever is the shorter of the two), no referral bonus will be awarded.
Referral bonus amounts may be amended by SkillsRobin depending on market conditions.
