The Challenge: Design a Christmas advent calendar which works on a mobile app.
The user must be able to
- View the advent calendar and see 24 days
- See what days have already been opened, and see what days are still closed
- Open the next, unopened day
- View the gift they've received

Design Inspiration
The Advent Calendar mobile app, inspired by gift boxes, recreates the joy of unwrapping presents in real life. Throughout December, users can experience the anticipation of receiving a daily surprise from Santa. By simply tapping on the virtual gift box corresponding to the date, users unveil their daily gift just like unwrapping a physical present.
Upon opening, each gift transforms into a puzzle piece. Once all gifts are unwrapped, 24 pieces form a festive Christmas-themed image. Plus, a hidden surprise awaits on the 25th!
The app goes beyond the festive countdown, offering features like sending letters to Santa and sending heartfelt wishes and gifts to family and friends.
With various price options, the Advent Calendar allows users to purchase 24 thoughtful gifts, catering to different budgets.
These unique features encourage users to engage with the app throughout the holiday season, turning the act of unwrapping virtual gifts into a delightful and interactive Christmas celebration.
